This family has a strong background in the service space. One of the investors was a project manager as well as a part-owner in a Japanese ramen noodle restaurant. The other partner in this venture was previously an engineer for Hewlett Packard
The Lui team loves the Beard Papa’s product and they plan to be hands-on owners in their locations.
We are proud to announce our newest Beard Papa’s franchisees, the Wan family. The Wan family will open three units in the Pasadena, Glendale and Burbank, area of California.
This family has a strong background in banking as financial analysts and in HR management.
The Wan family loved the Beard Papa’s product so much that they knew they had to be part of this amazing concept. They plan to be semi-absentee owners and hire a general manager to run the day to day operations of the stores.

Imran is the founder and CEO of a falafel brand called I Dream of Falafel. They are currently franchising and have 10 locations. When Imran and his team tried the product at Beard Papa’s they knew they wanted to be a part of this incredible brand. What an amazing compliment to have another franchisor owner join our fold as a franchisee, and as you can see by the photo….the entire family is excited to take on this new adventure!

Julie Sellers is a CPA with an accounting degree from Auburn University. She also has a Master’s Degree in education and is a licenses speech pathologist. She even homeschooled their three children.Kelly is the VP of accounting for a restaurant company. They both plan on being hands-on in the business.
Christine and Steve Miller will be opening a new K9 Resort in Newtown, PA (Bucks County). This amazing couple both have tremendous business backgrounds. Christine has had senior leader roles in NYC with companies in the fashion industry like Coach and Ann Taylor. Steve owns and runs his own successful material sciences laboratory. They have two daughters in college…and they have been long term customers of K9 Resorts. We are so proud to have Christine and Steve join K9 Resorts!
Dennis and Elda McGinley are opening a K9 Resorts location in Miami, FL!
Dennis is the Co-Founder and Partner of a Corporate Caterers, a successful franchise company as a market leader in the commercial catering industry. Dennis sold the company two years ago and is looking for his next chapter. Elda will continue her long strong career in accounting and purchasing with Corporate Caterers, while Dennis runs their K9 Resort. Dennis and Elda are lifelong dog lovers with four dogs.

Mike and Mary Adam’s are a wonderful married couple with a beautiful four-month-old newborn. Mike has been in technology for fifteen years. He was with Texas Instruments in the corporate sales program. He currently works for Artesyn Embedded Technologies as a Global Account Manager. He handles all aspects of new products including design, marketing, and sales through the entire product lifecycle.
Mary is a registered nurse and works in cardiology for the Texas Children’s Hospital. She has been home with the baby since giving birth 4 months ago and she has a passion for design and catering.
Glenn Vogelman is opening four K9 Resort locations in Nassau County, NY. Glenn has had a successful career in asset management and has deep expertise in evaluating companies across numerous industries, including hospitality. As you might expect, Glenn did a very deep dive on the pet care boarding and daycare industry, and he believes in the tremendous opportunities we have ahead of us at K9 Resorts.
James and Jim Merli are opening a K9 Resort location in the Bluffton, SC market. This powerhouse father-son team makes a great addition to the K9 Resorts family. Jim is retired after a very successful career in finance and investment banking. James has most recently been a research analyst. James wanted to combine a lifelong love for dogs and interest in entrepreneurship, so he started working weekends at the Fairfield, NJ location of K9 Resorts. This experience confirmed their decision to move forward with K9 Resorts and leverage their collective business & financial experience for themselves. We couldn’t be prouder to add this great family to our family of franchisees at K9 Resorts!

Regina and her husband moved from Shanghai, China, five years ago to pursue their dream of entrepreneurship.
Shawn is a successful flooring distributor of commercial carpets, tiles, and vinyl planks, he will be supporting Regina in her new endeavor. They have a beautiful family, whicRanchoh includes their son Austin and daughter Tiffany. Regina will be opening their first store in Rancho Cucamonga and are incredibly excited to begin their journey.

They will be be developing a new Ivybrook Academy campus in Bluffton, SC.Although Stacey and Scott and don’t have a background in education, working with children has always been a passion of theirs. Between volunteering in Kindergarten classrooms, substitute teaching and of course working with their own kids through the educational system the Foley’s have come to realize just how important early education is for children.
Manuel and Jeanette Gonzalez will be opening their second Beard Papa’s location. The Gonzalez team opened their first Beard Papa’s location in Bellaire, TX in June, 2019. There were lines around the block at the grand opening – and the store has been a home run. They have now signed franchise agreements for another store in The Memorial City Mall of Houston, TX. We love seeing our current franchisees expand their Beard Papa’s empire. We can’t wait to watch them succeed.
Jade has a background in accounting and worked for a commercial trucking company, where she met her husband. After a while, they went out on their own and now have a successful diesel trucking repair business. Jade is now ready for her next move and wants something that is all hers. We can’t wait to watch Jade take Clean Eatz to the next level, and bring this incredible concept to Augusta GA!
Franchise owners Esteban Tan, Brian Lee, and Peng Xu opened their first Beard Papa’s in Peachtree Corners in June 2019 to a raving fan base and lines around the block. They originally signed franchise agreements for a single location but decided to open two more in Duluth and Bufford due to their immediate success with the first-ever Beard Papa’s in Atlanta. We love to see our franchisees thriving and growing their businesses. There is no greater compliment than to have a current franchisee request more franchise agreements to grow. With two children of their own, ages 9 and 10, the Nagarakanti’s know first hand the effort and frustration that can come with selecting a proper preschool. Clean Eatz is excited to announce that our unique healthy food offerings are coming to Auburn, AL. Go War Eagle! Dawn and David White secured the rights to open a Clean Eatz café in this market and are looking forward to further expanding the reach of Clean Eatz. Both Dawn and David are successful business owners who look to leverage their talents, business acumen and reputation in the local community to make their Clean Eatz one of the best in the country.
Shabnam came to the United States from India as an RN. He then bought into Little Ceasars, and is now a multi-unit franchisee with them. Shabnam’s interest then turned to Beard Papa’s as a means for expanding his portfolio.

Canh owns a Ding Tea franchise serving Boba tea, milk tea, and fruit juice made fresh to order. His current location operates in the Mira Mesa Mall. Prior to owning Ding Tea, Canh worked in finance.

Jeff and Carolyn have been married for over twenty-five years and have three wonderful children. Jeff has been a healthcare executive over the past twenty-five years and currently serves as President of Hueman Risk Adjustment Staffing. Carolyn has enjoyed raising their children, being a consummate volunteer and leader in their school’s parent teacher association boards. Together, Jeff and Carolyn have loved being involved in all aspects of their children’s educational, spiritual, and extracurricular lives and believe setting a foundation begins in early education. Raising three children of their own they understand how each child has their own unique style of learning. Ivybrook’s innovative and progressive curriculum in early childhood education nurtures a love for learning by recognizing the strengths and needs of each child. Dang will be opening his Beard Papa’s store in Denver, CO. Dang is an experienced franchise owner with a franchise portfolio consisting of other brands like Zero Degrees.Dang’s experience as a franchise owner isn’t a requirement for Beard Papa’s, but we are always proud when experienced franchisees, choose Beard Papa’s as their next venture.
Gail and Steve Ostroff have an incredible back story. Early childhood education is Gail’s passion and dream. She worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as a audiologist. She loved working with kids and families. However, she didn’t like the politics and bureaucracy of a big hospital so she quit to pursue her dream of running a school. she knew that Ivybrook Academy was the right move for her. With Steve by her side, this pair will be unstoppable.
Beard Papa’s newest franchisees Kevin and MaryAnn Tran and Eugene and Tran Loh. They currently own and operate franchise locations with ShareTea. They have now chosen to diversify their franchise portfolio with Beard Papa’s. They have been awarded a single unit location for Beard Papa’s in Grand Prairie, TX.
Yaning and Bart met many years ago working with Seimens. With over 20 years of experience in the cellular field with Nokia and Siemens, this husband and wife team have already mastered the art of working with your spouse. With three little ones added to their clan, it was time for a change and the Ivybrook model was a perfect fit.
Mark’s experience is rather expansive. For the last 14 years, Mark has served with General Electric in roles such as CMO. Global Operations Director, and most recently Global Commercial and Sales Operations Executive. His work experience with team management and marketing strategy will serve him will inside the Ivybrook model. Alison works with Microsoft and is currently enjoying a very well deserved maternity leave.
Heather has been busy being a super mom for the last 10 years, raising her three children all while maintaining her own graphic design business. Brandon spent the first years of his career serving our country and is now in the construction/ oil and gas business. It was Brandon’s work that brought them to Charleston.
We are proud to welcome our newest franchisees, David and his son Michael Dore. David and Michael will be opening 8 K9 Resorts properties around the Houston market. David and his brother were the first franchisees of Planet Fitness and have since sold their 35-club empire. Now it was time to look into something new. With their love for dogs and the increasing need in their market place for viable daycare facilities, David and Michael knew this industry was booming. After exploring many different options in the pet care space, Michael and David both felt that K9 Resorts was a no brainer, the perfect fit.
Meet Sarah and Darrell Rawlings, most of Sarah’s career has been focused on making others feel beautiful. Whether it be as a hair and makeup designer or as a transformative health and fitness coach, Sarah’s life has been dedicated to finding the beauty in others. Darrell has worked for Mckesson for the last 16 years, most recently holding the position of VP, RX Programs and Category Management.
Kati Prater has spent most of her career as a supportive wife and super mom to her three children. She has also been a co-owner in a popular clothing boutique. With a passion for beauty and high-quality beauty experience, Kati saw a gap in her market with eyelash extensions and knew The Lash Lounge would be the perfect solution. We can’t wait to watch Kati grow her business and make the Troy, MI community beautiful.
Greg and Maria Randazza will be bringing K9 Resorts to the Manalapan Township area of New Jersey. Greg and Maria were customers of K9 Resorts, and they loved their experience so much they looked into the franchise opportunity. Greg’s career has predominately centered around his real estate firm where he focused on buying, flipping and selling properties. Maria’s background has been in high school education where she started as a teacher but has spent the majority of her career as a high school guidance counselor. The Randazza’s have two teenage daughters one who’s a junior in high school and the other who’s currently a sophomore in college. Greg and Maria look forward to including their daughters in their new K9 Resorts business.
Sheila and Chris Beck are new to North Carolina after moving from their home in California recently. Chris is a senior executive with strong marketing, sales, business development, and operations experience. He has successfully led on-time development of products to market for over 15 years. Chris has recently taken his skill set to the consulting world where he has continued to help companies communicate their products effectively in their perspective marketplace. Sheila is a force to be reckoned with, with two biological children, one adopted child, and another adoption blessing on the way. Sheila is not only a stay at home super-mom, but she also spearheads the Beck family community outreach. She focuses on child advocacy, foster care awareness and works within her community to improve the lifestyle of children both in and out of our foster systems.
William and Courtney Reidy are taking on the exciting world of boutique fitness. For the past 20 years, William has worked in Financial Services for various Banks and Asset Management companies advising institutional and high net worth clients on managing wealth. William and his wife Courtney have been married for 15 years and have 3 children, they plan to run their new studio together.
Casey has a degree in Sport Management with a Minor in Exercise Science from Bemidji State University in Northern Minnesota. After graduation, he became a personal trainer and has been for over 22 years, holding multiple positions in the fitness and health industry from successfully running a personal training business to supervising a fitness center, and also working with patients in cardiac rehabilitation. Casey has also climbed the corporate ladder for several years as a marketing analyst in product management for a leading slot machine manufacturer. Lisa began her career as a cosmetologist after high school and after working several years in the industry, she decided to also pursue her passion for fitness. For the last sixteen years, she has been sharing her love for fitness and health with others while working as a personal trainer. She has successfully opened and operated two personal training businesses in two different states. During that time, she went back to school to complete her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and also worked as an administrator for a Naturopathic Health Clinic.
Robin & Monia Kirksey are very successful multi-store franchise operators in a Fast-Casual restaurant industry in the LA market. They were looking to diversify their franchise portfolio with the right concept that will allow the executive semi-absentee ownership model. As the LA market was oversaturated with their existing concept, they wanted to leave the restaurant market place The Lash Lounge was the best option for them. They moved methodically to learn all about the Lash Lounge and became new franchisees in the market as Monia will be spearheading this new area of their franchise portfolio.
Priya and Ash are a husband-wife team. They will both be fully involved in the business. They currently live in Hershey, PA but are moving to Nashville in early May to be closer to family. They have great energy and are both passionate about children and education. They are also very involved in the community. Priya is a Kinesiologist and has experience managing clinics. Ash is an industrial engineer with a master’s degree. He is a production manager for an injection molding company.
Iyingiere Ziworitin and her husband Dama will be joining us as our newest franchisees in Texas. Iyingiere’s background is in the medical field as a Nurse Practitioner, while Dama is a physician at West Houston Hospital. Their passion for making a difference in their community makes them the perfect franchisees for Ivybrook Academy. We can’t wait to see what this family accomplishes.
Linda and Brian are native Texans and according to them, they have been gone too long! They’ve been married 26 years and for fun, they like to travel to new places, and love to go to nice restaurants. Their son is finishing Duke graduate school this Spring, and their daughter is scheduled to graduate from Michigan State in December. Brian’s career has been in Human Resources in the Automotive industry – currently VP of Human Resources, North America for a large automotive company.
Becki Goss is a seasoned marketing professional, leader and strategist with a successful track record of driving profitable growth in consumer brands. Her career has been largely focused in the animal health industry where she was instrumental in the development of what is now the country’s largest online equine retailer and the leading health brand in the equine industry, from start-up phase through profitability and sale of the company. Since her exit there she has served as key member of Executive Leadership Team charged with formulating strategic direction and business development initiatives for B2C and B2B channels and led the execution of the marketing and brand strategy, including full management of the marketing P&L, media budget, strategic partnerships, new business analysis, marketing communications and PR.
Luke graduated from Campbell University in 2007 with a degree in Communications. He currently lives in the Los Angeles California area and has been buying, remodeling, and selling homes for the past few years. His father has been in the franchise world for many years with another organization.
Sam Kohout is a seasoned entrepreneur, after owning 2 UPS stores for over 20 years and selling them successfully, Sam was ready for the next big thing and CITYROW was the perfect fit. Sam now plans to run his 3 CITYROW studios while continuing his work as a RE-Max agent.
Jason and Leah Rooney. Jasons career started as a Radio DJ and then transitioned into being a Voice Actor (commercials for radio/TV, promos, online etc) until present day. His experience running his own small business and personally managing his own successful career gives him a unique insight into the daily aspects of running a small business on a micro scale.
Jack has over 20 years of working experience from helping his parents run their own restaurant to working early on in retail. Jack then received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Jack then worked at a local hospital as a Data Coordinator for 7 years.
Heather has spent her entire professional career with Walgreens. Starting out in the management trainee program and working her way to Store Manager where she led up to 35 team members. Heather was responsible for hiring and developing team members, retail operations, pharmacy operations, inventory management, and community involvement. Arron is the Regional Vice President at Express Employment Professionals. He also worked at Walgreens where he was the Area Director of Pharmacy and Retail Operations for Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas including West Virginia.
Judy received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Rutgers University and has since had a long successful career with Merck & Co. Corporate-wide restricting led Judy to a crossroads in her career and Judy decided it was time to forge her own path. Judy found K9 Resorts through her proximity to the corporate headquarters. After quietly exploring the opportunity for months, Judy finally started to engage with the team- the fit was perfect. Judy loved the insight she was given into the corporate infrastructure and felt incredibly confident in the support she would be receiving as a franchisee. Now Judy and her family are ready to embark on their new life as K9 Resorts franchisees!
Mike has over 20+ years of executive business experience largely in managing supply chains, procurement operations, strategic sourcing, supplier management, category management strategy and inventory management.
Aidan has been in management consulting for 15 years. Focusing specifically on Technology and software development. His career led him into the Telcom media and tech space where he was able to help spear head many different Acquisitions and mergers. Aidan also completed his an MBA in finance.
Pranav’s experience is rather extensive. Starting with his MBA in Business Administration from NIU. His work experience includes 5 years of franchise experience inside of Edible Arrangements. If that’s not enough, Pranav also brings operational business experience to the table through his ownership of a local ethnic grocery store. Finally, it is important to mention that from the corporate perspective, Pranav has over 18 years of Engineering experience, most recently holding a leadership position at Caterpillar
Angela and Gus join our family along with theirs! They have 6 kids, ranging in age from 15 years to 9 months. All of which love DOGS! Angela has had a successful career in technical writing and documentation. Gus has been in computer forensics as a security specialist for over 20 years, currently, a partner in his company Gus has taken his organization from 500 employees to a little over 90,000. While Gus and Angela will be tag teaming this venture, Angela will be running the ship!
Barb has 20 years of retail experience from department manager to multi-units roles at places such as Lord & Taylor, MainStreet (now Kohl’s), LensCrafters, & Carson’s. Brian was enlisted in the Navy & officer service then a U.S. Naval Academy graduate. After that, Brain spent 30 years in retail – both publicly & privately held companies. He has held positions from Marketing assistant to SVP to small company CEO roles. Working with well-known brands such as LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, GNG, David’s Bridal, Mattress Firm, and many more running from 10 to 1,000+ units.
Kalisa has a diverse professional background ranging from Civil Law Paralegal to managing a team of customer service representatives and complex NICU case management support.Patrick is a Technology Director with experience managing a large IT team. His current focus is on tech strategy in healthcare.
Carla comes to us with over 17 years of experience in the professional sales world. With leadership sales experience in brands such as FedEx, DHL and Purolator. Her operational and team leadership experience provides the perfect foundation for her new journey as a franchisee.
Anita began her career as Programmer and transitioned to various roles in Information Technology taking on progressively increasing responsibility. At 31, she became an IT Director at The California Endowment and continued to take on various leadership and relationship building roles across IT and Business functions. In 2006, Anita decided to move into consulting and formed an “S” corporation named Jade Consulting Solutions, Inc. Since then she has been fortunate to sustain a successful consulting business and have worked with various clients in the Healthcare, Insurance, Entertainment, Education, Banking and Pharmaceutical industries. Anita is a single mom of two college-age kids who are passionate about the outdoors, travel and spending time together
Rod Bellak is a senior executive in Information Technology with over 30 years of experience. His area of expertise is vendor management, procurement, transformational initiatives and business relationship management.
Matt Kurowski is an experienced executive and team leader. He is currently the COO of another franchise brand responsible for strategic planning to support over 140 franchisees. Matt is highly skilled at evolving operational systems and processes and developing new scalable solutions, while continually improving the customer experience.
Donna Scalfano is the Controller of a bookkeeping company that specializes in boutique fitness franchise brands. She has seen first-hand how everything is shifting to boutique in the fitness space. She also knows how profitable these businesses are because her company prepares and reviews franchisee P&L’s all the time.
Natesh Chandrashekar is an experienced engineering leader with 16 years in the energy industry performing product design, development and validation. He led global product development teams, interfaced with customers and resolved field issues.
Brooke Minteer was an executive at the Container Store working in purchasing, logistics and operations for the past twenty years. She loved her job and believed in the product and company culture. She plans on applying all she has learned about building culture and leading teams for her own Sweetwaters business.
Jason Cole is an executive at Texas Instruments with over 15 years experience and is motivated by driving growth and managing people. Jason wanted to create additional streams of income for his family and loved the Sweetwaters business model and culture. He and his wife, Amanda have 4 children.
Debra Mitchell is originally from the UK but has lived in Dallas for 16 years. She went to school to be an engineer and loves to problem solve. She worked between sales and engineering and is the perfect combination of smart and personable! Her husband, Steve Flax is a military veteran and business owner who also owns a real estate portfolio.
Joe Giordano, Anthony Rapisarda Sr. and Anthony Rapisarda Jr. have been awarded a five-café development agreement in Southern NJ. Joe has a background in accounting. He also owned a dry cleaning business and a multi-unit Wendy’s franchise. Anthony Sr. recently sold a wildly successful ambulance company with over 350 employees. Anthony Jr. has extensive operations background in overseeing the family business with his father.
Jeremy Schmucker is the National Sales Director for a bio-pharmaceutical company. He has been in the same industry for over twenty years with varying sales and sales management positions. He currently manages a national sales force of fourteen and two Regional Sales Directors. His wife, LoriAnne is a stay-at-home mom with their seven children.
John Whipkey is an attorney with a private practice specializing in energy and real estate litigation. His wife, Joy Chaksupa is a nurse. They are moving to Raleigh from Pittsburgh to be closer to family. Joy will continue to work in healthcare and John plans to leave is law practice to run a much more fulfilling business with Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea.
Jamie Larson has extensive experience in similar membership based franchises. She successfully launched multiple fitness brands in New Orleans by leading the pre-opening sales efforts. Her husband, Jeremie Ertle is an existing franchisee with another brand and decided to diversify with The Lash Lounge. He has over 15 years experience in sales.
Tom Dilenno is a Systems Engineer who designs air traffic control systems for the FAA. His wife, Michelle is studying to be a nurse. Michelle also works part time at a senior living center and used to manage a Starbucks, so she has the perfect background for Sweetwaters! They are excited to get started with Sweetwaters and will be looking to open their first café in the Naperville, IL area.
Dave Regelean is a senior project manager with a successful track record of overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction projects in the Residential and Commercial field. In addition, Dave was a Orange Theory franchise owner who successfully ran and sold his franchise.
Dave and his wife, Tammie are avid fitness enthusiasts. They have two teenage daughters who are also both are extremely competitive in sports, cheer and basketball.
Nick Florentino has an extensive career in pharmaceuticals as an executive of multi-channel marketing. His wife, Carey works as the operations manager for an online clothing marketer. Both are thrilled to get started on their new adventure with The Lash Lounge.
Imran Lodhi is Director of Accounting for a Fortune 500 Consumer Brand company and his wife, Allison is Director of business Strategy development at a major healthcare company. They both have extensive management experience and entrepreneurial roles within their current positions.
Marc Eichten is currently the SVP of Operations at a Fin-Tech start up in San Francisco, LendingHome. Previously, Marc was President of several large and start-up mortgage firms. His wife, Katie, was also at LendingHome where she was the SVP of Capital Markets. She has recently left this position to run their CITYROW franchises. They have four children-all of them who are fitness lovers like their parents!
Mariano Mar is an executive with over twenty-five years of experience in the automotive industry. His responsibilities have included manufacturing, process engineering, project management, quality control and business systems. Mariano is currently the Vice President of Quality for Horizon Global.
Mariano’s wife, Sara worked for General Electric Capital International Services as Hiring and Staffing Manager for two plants. She also worked as High School Mathematics teacher for El Paso School District and Houston School District.
Dr. Lewis Breslau (audiologist) had a multi-unit independent hearing aid retail business that he sold to private equity. He then leveraged his business experience and capital to become arguably the most successful and respected multi-unit Crunch Fitness Franchisee in the Nation! He was attracted to K9 Resorts because he could clearly see that this was quickly becoming a national brand in a highly profitable space with a world class management team. Lewis wanted to get in on the ground floor, just like he did at Crunch!
Andres Manon has had a very successful career as a senior level executive. His last executive position was General Manager of Tyson de Mexico with Tyson Foods, Inc. His wife Susy also had a successful corporate career before staying home to raise their three kids. Andres plans to use his management and leadership skills acquired over the past 22 years to build a business for himself and his family
Brant Hamilton worked in corporate America, and then purchased a FedEx route, which is similar to owning a franchise. His wife, Kylah managed car dealerships for a family owned business until they moved to Amarillo. Currently, she does marketing part-time while raising their seven-month-old son.
Veronica Pelayo and her husband are both are both military veterans. She has held multiple leadership roles both in the military and civilian life. Veronica has a strong passion for the beauty and lash industry. As such, she became a certified lash technician. This coupled with her strong leadership background both in business and the military make her a great addition to The Lash Lounge Family.
Kathleen Isabelle has and MBA and has been in Sales, Sales Management, Sales Training for Waste Management. She has also been a Project Manager focused on IT Customer Experience. In addition, she has been involved in IT projects regarding outsourced call centers and Net Promoter Score, which measures the customer experience. Kathleen and her husband, Claude also own rental and investment properties. Kathleen’s strong leadership and management background will make her a great addition to The Lash Lounge Family.
Mark Nance has been Vice President of Information Technology for various high profile companies over 20-year career. He has lead large scale projects overseeing teams across various business lines with full P&L responsibilities. Mark also brings franchising experience coming out of Pappa Johns Pizza as Vice President of Digital Solutions.
John Noel has spent the last 32-years in corporate finance with the last 22 at JPMorgan Asset Management where he headed up the finance team for various units. He obtained his undergraduate from Ohio State University and an MBA at University of Dayton. John’s wife, Sandra is the office manager for Munster Financial.
Robin Root is the VP of Operations at a technology company that provides electronic data capture systems for clinical research and has been in the industry for about 15 years. Due to Robin’s recent promotion, which required relocation from Indianapolis to Fort Lauderdale, her husband, Dan has left his job of 25 years. Dan functioned as a General Manager over multiple locations of a small family automotive service and distribution company. He is now transitioning in a business he is passionate about with CITYROW.
Greg & Linda Pope have owned a very successful Insurance Agency for the past 30 years as well as other businesses. They bring a wealth of knowledge and track record as successful entrepreneurs. Their son, Greg will be the GM. He has a background in Insurance and sales.
Natalie Moore is a marketing and business development executive with masters of chemical engineering from Villanova University. She led company wide marketing for a $1.6 billion per year utility infrastructure construction company. Her husband, Rich is a newly retired law enforcement officer. His experience includes K-9 Unit, range officer, sniper certification, tactical certification and explosives trained by Homeland Security.
Jeff Garon is currently Director of Business Development for a technology company. Previously he was the Marketing Manger for Esurance. His wife, Melissa is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over eight years of experience in both start-up and enterprise working environments. She is currently working with Adobe to identify team needs and provide tailored training and team building to enhance productivity, skills and working relationships.
Eric Trepanier has Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science (also in Pharmacy) degrees from the University of Toronto and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business. Most recently, Eric was Senior Vice President of Marketing Sciences at WebMD. As a senior leader in the organization, he managed a team that conducted strategic sales and analytics. He also worked with the management team to execute a strategic process that resulted in the sale of the company to private equity. Eric also worked for almost ten years on Wall Street as an analyst and portfolio manager, and before that, founded and operated a consulting business, Global Health Consulting, that catered primarily to the pharmaceutical industry. He is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, including fitness and healthy eating, and loves international travel.
Eric’s wife, Angela Roe also has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, and an MA in International Studies and Management from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a senior executive in global marketing, branding and advertising. Angela was Head of Marketing for Latin America for Reebok for several years, helping it become the fastest-growing region under Reebok. Prior to Reebok, she worked for the Omnicom Group, in brand strategy, public relations, direct marketing and general advertising for clients such as Under Armour, Moët & Chandon, Dow Chemical, Pfizer, ExxonMobil and the CFA Institute. A dual citizen of the US and Argentina, Angela speaks 4 languages and grew up in 9 countries. Like Eric, she’s also passionate about living and sharing with others a healthy lifestyle. It’s her hope that by being as fit as possible, she and Eric can continue their passion for international travel for as long as possible.
Mike Harman is the co-owner and Vice President of International Sales for Consolidated Metco. The company was founded by Mike’s father fifty years ago to produce OEM and aftermarket parts for the commercial vehicle industry. His wife, Carrie has worked in sales engineering for six years with Landis and Gyr Powers. Prior to that she spent nine years with NIKE and started NIKEiD.
Corinne Tran is a successful Pharmaceutical Sales Professional with Merck and Sanofi for 16 years. She manages a high sales volume territory and will continue to manage that business while overseeing her salons with The Lash Lounge.
Deborah Kelly has had a successful career in IT and Health Care Industries leading teams as a Project Manager. Deborah will be keeping her full time job in health care while opening her first salon in the Bay Area. Deborah has an infectious personality, a bright smile and will make a wonderful addition to the Lash Lounge family of franchisees!
Angie Spencer is a very successful Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Eli Lilly with 13-years tenure. Prior to Pharmaceutical sales, Angie was a high performing team manager with State Farm Insurance for 16-years leading a team of 22. Her husband, John is also with State Farm in their special investigation unit. Both are bringing strong leadership and management skills with them.
Kristen McNeill has worked in television and media business development for over twenty years. She currently works with several media companies to drive distribution and business development initiatives through identifying, developing, and implementing growth opportunities with partners across a variety of industries. She is also well connected in her community through PTA, charity leagues, and a large network of small business owners. Kristen’s husband, Jeff works in television production as a freelance Video Assist Operator.
John Mancuso is a Security Analyst in the IT industry with his Master’s Degree. His wife, Liz is a Senior Security Researcher with a degree in Engineering. They are both really highly energetic and goal oriented!
Liz & John were attracted to The Lash Lounge because they liked the idea of keeping the safety and security of their full-time jobs, while getting involved in a manger run, multi-unit business. They also wanted to take advantage of the tremendous growth and excitement that surrounds The Lash Lounge.
Wahgo Chang worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. He has broad experience including a leadership role as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of a division of an asset management firm, financial analyst, and management consultant. His wife, Yuyu has worked with several companies as a financial analyst. Her focus was on management reporting and financial planning and analysis. She now stays home to raise their two children, ages 14 and 11.
Gary Schluckebier graduated from Indiana University as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After selling his first dental practice, he currently owns and operates a dental practice in Ithaca, which he has had for 17-years. His wife, Suzy has a degree in Psychology. She worked in marketing for three years before moving into the mental health field. She now works as the office manger for Gary’s dental practice.
Stan Racinski is a senior executive with extensive multi-national experience in operations management, safety, cost control, and revenue generation. He develops and implements strategies to achieve profitability and builds high performance teams to deliver results. He recently purchased an independent business that builds and maintains seawalls around Michigan. His wife, Karen is a manager at Blue Cross Shield for Michigan for over 30 years.
At 16, Vladimir Volkov came to US for education and never left. Since then, Vladimir has accomplished more before the age of 40 than most people accomplish in a lifetime. He began his entrepreneurial endeavors while in college, at UC Berkeley, when he purchased a piece of land and began building million-dollar homes on it. He then got into the music industry and became a producer for a family member who wanted to be a pop singer. That led him to launch a private personal security business in Hollywood and eventually he built a school in Texas that trains body guards.
Akins Macaulay was with McDonald’s Corporation for nearly 30 years. He’s done it all. Everything from managing multiple units for franchisees to being the training coordinator at the corporate office. We are so proud to have Akins join Sweetwaters. It is a true testament to the strength of our remarkable brand.
Greg Dodd has extensive background in IT for Fortune 500 companies. He has Director level responsibilities overseeing multiple business lines to include Product Development, IT Web Development, Marketing and Advertising for 25 years. His wife, Caroline is a special education teacher and she will join him in the business. Greg wants to make a difference in other peoples lives by catering to his local community. This is what drew him to Sweetwaters!
